What is test and tag?
Test and Tag refers to the safety checking of electrical equipment.
This process involves first checking the appliance visually for any defects and then secondly testing it with a portable equipment tester.
After an appliance has been tested it is then tagged with the details of who it was tested by, the date of testing and when the next date of testing is due.
